This is only a port of the game's graphics. To play the game, you must have the beatmania 2008 apk and you must not have beatmania 2009 installed. For every day of the week except for Sunday, there is a set of two images. In these images, you can choose to play the day's image from either of its slots. These images are repeated for each game you play, so it doesn't matter which day you choose. The beatmania 2008 apk does not allow you to choose which slot to play. The files are named “GB_2008_image_slot1” and “GB_2008_image_slot2”. And each file is named the day it belongs to. There are files for each day of the week except for Sunday, so there are files for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

This is an apk installer for beatmania 2008. It's a pretty good port, though I can't find the download links on the giantsbomb forums. If you would like to download it, you must have a Japanese PSN account, or have a secondary account if you have a Japanese PSN account.

Being a collection, the disc is partitioned to hold game data, the audio track, and the beatmania music player (BMP). The music player has almost no purpose on its own, as it is not a standalone program; it needs the beatmania soundtrack to play music. Since there is no information screen, we can assume it is a Windows 3.1 x86 port.
