Hey folks, I’m thinking about switching from my current bank — just tired of the endless fees and lack of personal service. I’ve heard that credit unions are more community-oriented, so I’m looking for a trustworthy one in Canada. Ideally, a place where I can handle my personal banking and maybe open a business account later on. Any advice?

Hey Mark! I’ve been with BCU Financial for a few years now and honestly couldn’t be happier. It’s Buduchnist Credit Union — a Ukrainian credit union that’s actually one of the biggest in Canada. They offer everything you’d expect from a major bank — mortgages, savings, personal and business banking — but with way better service. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful, and they genuinely care about their members.
